Blood Makes the Grass Grow Green (BMTG3) is a multi-player, side-scrolling, 1-dimensional strategy game that pits two people against each other in a duel over a stretch of land. Each player is positioned in a bunker at opposite ends of the map and tasked with deploying the right personnel and vehicles to capture FOBs (forward operating bases) and overrun your enemy's bunker. Currently there are 5 different units available. Timing, unit selection, and basic strategy are all necessary for success.
Frogatto is an old-school 2D platformer game starring a certain quixotic frog. It has gorgeous, high-end pixel art, pumping arcade tunes, and all the gameplay nuance of a classic console title. Run and jump over pits and enemies. Grab enemies with your tongue, swallow them, and then spit them out at other enemies as projectiles! Fight dangerous bosses, and solve vexing puzzles. Collect coins and use them to buy upgrades and new abilities in the store. Talk to characters in game, and work to unravel Big Bad Milgram's plot against the townsfolk! At over 30 levels set in 4 different environments, Frogatto is not a flash in the pan, and has the play-time you'd expect from a real video game.
Naev is a 2D space trading and combat game, in a similar vein as Escape Velocity. Naev is played from a top-down perspective, featuring fast-paced combat, many ships, a large variety of equipment, and a large galaxy to explore. The game is highly open-ended, letting you proceed at your own pace.
Avoision is a very simple arcade-style game. There's no story, no fancy graphics, no campaigns--just frantic, high-speed gameplay. Gameplay consists of moving a green block around with the arrow keys. The goal is to capture the red block before the timer runs out to score points. You must avoid all the white blocks that appear as you progress through the game.
RPGRobotAlive is an aide to a role playing games. It displays a board with walls and representations of the players that you can move around the dungeon. You can also place treasure or monsters in the dungeon. The program only keeps track of the locations of things, so you have to apply the rules of the game yourself to determine what happens in an encounter between the players and the contents of the dungeon. This software is generic and can be helpful with many different kinds of role playing games.
Quabro is an arcade game in which the goal is to destroy colored blocks with a ball using four paddles on each side of the screen to steer the ball and keep it on the field. It is inspired by Breakout and Arkanoid, as well as several of clones created later. It is written in Python using the Pygame library.
