ColoradoFTP is an FTP server that is fast, reliable, and extendable. It is fully compatible with RFC 959 (File Transfer Protocol), and its plug-in system makes it easy to extend the functionality with virtually any feature. The goal of this project was to create an FTP server that features the possibility to include tasks specific to a particular business.
curl-loader is a powerful tool for testing and generating load for Web applications. It uses HTTP, FTP, and TLS/SSL stacks. The loader simulates tens and hundreds of thousands of users or clients, each optionally with its own IP address. The goal is to provide an alternative to the Spirent Avalanche and Ixia IxLoad Web application testing solutions.
CD Linux Server is an embedded Linux system on a bootable live CD. It can be used to set up mail, Web, file, FTP, proxy, DHCP, DNS, MySQL, LDAP, and other services very quickly. The mail server includes antivirus, antispam, and mail recorder features. It can be used for free for up to 10 accounts, while the advanced version is licensed for an unlimited number of users. There is not any restriction against the time.
MultiLoad is a load balancer that redirects HTTP requests to pre-defined servers/locations. It gives the provider a way to balance the traffic and hides the real download location. It allows you to manage different version of each download. It is also a load balancing server extension. You can distribute files on some servers so that a downloaded file can be loaded form different servers. These servers can have different priorities to control the active traffic.
Generic-FTP is an FTP proxy-like application. It can combine multiple FTP servers into a single FTP server front end. You configure what actions you want to be triggered by uploads to specific directories. There are 4 actions provided, but custom actions can be easily created. The "rsync" action transfers the files to a remote rsync server. The "rsynclocal" action copies the file to another directory on the same server. The "smbclient" action copies files to a Windows/Samba share. The "hold" action retains the files in the directory for a specified number of days.
