Qddb is powerful database creation software. Using Qddb, you can quickly and easily create database applications. nxqddb allows you to create a complete database application in less than five minutes, and Hx lets you manage database information over the web through a CGI interface. Larger applications can also be developed using Fx, a powerful TCL/Tk toolkit.
Xdobry is a form-generator for relational databases. It is aimed at people who want to create forms to an existing database or migrate databases. MySQL, Postgresql, sqlite, ODBC (MS Access, MS SQL Server), and Oracle are supported. The system contains SchemaEditor, FormEditor (GUI Drag&Drop Editor), and FormServer. Xdobry offers functions to manipulate, import, and export database schema. Xdobry lets you browse your database like hypertext documents. Xdobry can migrate data between all supported databases.
Qbib is a bibliography management system based on Qddb. Qbib's features include the ability to import and export BibTeX .bib files and handle all standard and most common fields as well as @string translation, it can import .aux files to search results for quick export or review, and can automatically generate unique citation keys. It has a friendly user-interface and mandatory/optional fields for each BibTeX entry type. It has custom export options including author format and selection of fields to export and supports custom keyboard traversal. Qbib can also keep track of URLs, reviews, abstracts, and other important information about your references.
Qtime is a Qddb application designed to track consultant time on projects for individual clients. Independent consultants working over the internet will find Qtime particularly useful as it includes a stopwatch, allowance for multiple jobs per client, computation of amount due with time intervals, comment recording, and more. The Qddb database provides report generation, including barcharts and graphs.
TkSQL allows you to edit the tables of PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. You can use it from the shell prompt, specifying the name of a table, or an SQL satement, or just the name of a database. It has filter capabilities which are very easy to use. Two views are possible (tables and form) and both views can coexist. TkSQL can edit a join of two tables (limited to the first of such tables). Totals and subtotals can be done quickly, and displayed inline with the data or in a separate window. Queries can be created in no time and all working conditions can be saved at once (comprising subtotals, relative time constraints, layout, etc.). It also provides basic tools for creating tables.
TkDgen is a Tcl/Tk GUI front-end for DGen, an emulator of the Genesis video game console. It displays a list of available ROMs, and it can display a game screenshot when a ROM is selected in the list. It also helps you manage tips, graphic files, and hex codes for individual ROMs.
SQLScreens is a simple relational database screen form generator written in TCL/TK. It will let you create query screens very quickly by specifying what data (tables and columns) you want to see and what operations should be allowed (query/update, etc.). It will take care of creating the user interface and the behind-the-scenes SQL. SQLScreens can be used with different backend database systems, and includes direct support for MySQL, SQLite, and INFORMIX, and ODBC for others.
An extendable extract-transform-load tool where jobs are Perl or Java scripts.
