Sequoia provides high availability and performance scalability for databases. It is is the continuation of the C-JDBC project. It provides transparent database clustering (partitioning, replication, etc.). It works with any Java application without code modification and with any database engine. It has been successfully tested with Tomcat, JBoss, JOnAS, WebSphere, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Apache Derby, HSQLDB, SAP DB, Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MS SQL Server, Firebird, and more.
isbnsearch provides a simple method for retrieving information about any book using only an ISBN or EAN barcode. It is intended to provide assistance for online libraries, user groups, or individual users, and is designed in such a way to provide a distributed ISBN database query system. Users can choose to view the summary information (author, title, publisher, date, edition, subject, ISBN) as HTML, XML, or a pre-formatted SQL statement.

refbase is a Web-based bibliographic manager that can import and export references in various formats (including BibTeX, Endnote, ISI, RIS, PubMed, MODS XML, OpenOffice, and Word 2007 XML). It can make formatted lists of citations in HTML, RTF, PDF, or LaTeX, and offers powerful searching and RSS support. Its OpenSearch and SRU/W services and support for unAPI and COinS metadata allow for easy access by clients and search engines.
OntoWiki is a semantic collaboration platform for the development of Semantic Web knowledge bases. OntoWiki enables large distributed communities to collaborate on a semantic level, by allowing users to contribute small structured knowledge pieces, which stitched together may result in comprehensive knowlegde bases. Powl is Web-based ontology authoring and management solution for the Semantic Web. Both expose an extensive API for PHP programmers.
SAGU, which is a portuguese acronym for "Sistema Aberto de Gestão Unificada", was originaly designed to automate all of what that happens between a student and their Educational Institution. This relationship happens at the academic, financial and administrative levels, and SAGU has subsystems dedicated to these levels. SAGU can be tailored to fit the needs of any Educational Institution.
Kaspaliste is a literature database. It handles all kinds of books, articles, journals, Web pages, etc. The database goes beyond storing bibliographical information. It is possible to create annotated links between pieces of information (like the content of a book chapter) and to group links into categories. The user interface works just like a Web browser. You may walk back and forward through previously edited records, change fields, and create or delete links, publications, authors, etc. Kaspaliste stores files as well as information about publications, and it handles various formats like HTML, PDF, PS, DVI, and pictures. The fulltext search covers these files. Another feature is the automatic generation of BibTex files.
C-Cramp (the C-Cramp College Radio Audio Management Program) is a Web-based frontend to MySQL for managing the types of things that small radio stations might need: audio files, data, and "metadata"; DJ and staff information, schedules, live music and program logs, and all sorts of other data. Currently, a cross-platform PHP application is the focus of the project, but more features and types of programs are planned that will hopefully enable easier playback, storage, loading, and entering for all types of applicable data.
