KBackup is a program that lets you back up any directories or files. It uses an easy-to-use directory tree to select the things to back up. The program was designed to be very simple to use so that it can be used by those who are not computer experts. The storage format is the well known tar format, compressed with bzip2 or gzip. It also includes German, French, Italian, and Russian translations for the user interface and English and German translations of the handbook.
gnoMint is a tool for easily creating and managing certification authorities. It provides fancy visualization of all the pieces of information that pertain to a CA, such as x509 certificates, CSRs, and CRLs. gnoMint is currently capable of managing a CA that emits certificates that are able to authenticate people or machines in VPNs (IPSec or other protocols), secure HTTP communications with SSL/TLS, authenticate and cipher HTTP communications through Web-client certificates, and sign or crypt email messages.
PhpCompta is an accounting application. It is Web based and follows Belgian and French accountancy systems, but can be adapted to others. This application is able to handle the accounting for several small and medium-sized companies, and can create invoices or reports with OASIS or RTF templates. It can also manage analytic accountancy and follow-up of customers and suppliers. A plugin system is provided.

It has an intuitive GUI that makes it easy to learn and use. It has a budget feature and many reports to help on finance management. After some months of usage, GFP begins to try to predict your finance behavior for the configured type of transactions.
The Java Print Dialog Framework (JPDF) allows software developers to add a comprehensive printing capability to existing Java applications. The JPDF can preview and print Swing components: JTable, JTree, JTextPane, JTextArea, JEditorPane, and JPanel. Business reports and forms can be composed, viewed, and printed. A wide variety of page-setup, print-preview, and print dialogs are provided. The JPDF is designed to be integrated into Java Swing applications and applets.
gscan2pdf is a GUI to ease the process of producing PDFs from scanned documents. You scan in one or several pages and create a PDF of selected pages. Scanning is handled with SANE via scanimage. PDF conversion is done by PDF::API2. Perl is used for portability and ease of programming, with gtk2-perl for the GUI.
KScannerButtons is a daemon plus an optional KDE frontend for monitoring your scanner buttons so that actions can be taken in response to button presses. It's composed of a daemon (sanebuttond), a frontend that will display an icon in the systray, and a dialog box to configure and launch the daemon. It is based on the button monitoring capabilities found in some SANE backends. It has been tested with the avision backend and an HP 5300C scanner. The frontend requires Kommander (kde-webdev).
