Wsh is a remote Unix and Windows NT shell that works via HTTP. The client script provides a shell-like prompt, encapsulating user commands into HTTP POST requests and sending them to the server script. The server script extracts and executes commands and returns STDOUT and STDERR output. Features include command line history support, file upload/download, and it can work through an HTTP proxy server.
zrep provides an easy-to-use program to manage zfs filesystem replication and failover. No configuration files are required. The program is developed under Solaris, but may work with any up to date zfs implementation. The executable is a single script. Initialization does a full data copy, but subsequent syncs are incrementals. It uses internal locking to make sure there is no danger of overlap if you just shove it in cron to run every minute. Design target is more "near-time replication", since the sync can be run every minute or more. However, it could conceivably be used for "backup" purposes as well.
BixData is a cluster management tool that includes monitoring and system administration features. It monitors services (HTTP, ping, POP3, SMTP), performance, and processes. It has a management console for VMWare and Xen that supports multiple virtual machine hosts and guests. It can create critical notifications and send email alerts for any system event (HTTP, ping, CPU, memory, SMART diagnostics, VM stats). A graphical desktop supports real-time dynamic graphs. The runtime agents and server components are lightweight and easy to set up and run.
Nodezilla is a secured, distributed, and fault tolerant routing system (or grid network) that supports distributed services such as file sharing, chat, efficient video multicast streaming, and secured file storage. It provides cache features where any server may create a local replica of any data object. These local replicas provide faster access and robustness to network partitions, and reduce network congestion by localizing access traffic. To ensure data protection, redundancy and cryptographic techniques are used.
DirSync is a directory synchronizer that takes a source and destination directory as arguments and recursively ensures that the two directories are identical. It can be used to create incremental copies of large chunks of data. For example, if your file server's contents are in the directory /data, you can make a copy in a directory called /backup with the command "dirsync /data /backup." The first time you run it, all data will be copied. On subsequent runs, only the changed files are copied.
Spanish Word Searches allows you to generate and play randomly-generated word searches based on 1,200 items of basic Spanish vocabulary split into topics. You can select to play the word searches on vocabulary from any combination of themes and specify the size of the grid, number of words, and difficulty parameters. The program also contains a link to the iPad version of the word search application.
The Geo Trending app presents a list of countries in an order by how much they are mentioned in the news. You can browse the list and see the news. For each country, the app displays a circle indicating how often it's being mentioned at the present moment. The app uses the Vysoko News Analytics backend to fetch its data. With this app, you can see how current events correlate with news articles and how trends develop.

It supports HP-UX 10.xx/11.xx, SunOS/Solaris, AIX, SCO Open Server, Linux (SUSE, Debian, and Red Hat), and NT4.0/Win2000 systems. Plugins for SAP R/3, Oracle, Informix, Samba and SWAT, ITO and NNM, XP-Surestore Storage, EVA, SureStore E, SuperDome, OLA/R, SCM, AutoRAID, FC60, Tip/X, MC/SG, and Dataprotector/OmniBack are included.
