Afio makes cpio-format archives. It deals somewhat gracefully with input data corruption, supports multi-volume archives during interactive operation, and can make compressed archives that are much safer than compressed tar or cpio archives. Afio is best used as an `archive engine' in a backup script.

Assimp is a portable and extensible library designed for reading various well-known 3D file formats. It provides APIs for C and C++ and several wrappers for other languages. It reads more than 20 different 3D file formats (including Collada, 3DS, OBJ, LWO, and X) into a straightforward, hierarchical in-memory data structure that can easily be read and processed by applications. Several post processing steps can be applied, such as normal and tangent computations, index buffer, and vertex cache optimization. The library supports complex multi-layer materials and skinned meshes with multiple animations. A Windows-based viewer utility is provided as an implementation reference.
Blood Makes the Grass Grow Green (BMTG3) is a multi-player, side-scrolling, 1-dimensional strategy game that pits two people against each other in a duel over a stretch of land. Each player is positioned in a bunker at opposite ends of the map and tasked with deploying the right personnel and vehicles to capture FOBs (forward operating bases) and overrun your enemy's bunker. Currently there are 5 different units available. Timing, unit selection, and basic strategy are all necessary for success.

The Exquisite `df' (xdf) is a souped-up version of df(1) rewritten from scratch and focused on flexibility of field selection and output format. It offers HTML and CSV outputs, besides the traditional text-based console output. It is fit for system administrators who are tired of post-processing df(1) output through shell or Perl scripts in order to avoid broken lines or to get a simple total/summary line.
