Sirix is a versioned tree-based storage system. It provides Snapshot Isolation through MVCC and is best suited for flash-based storage. The tree encoding is suited for heavy update operations. It provides diffing algorithms either to import diffs between currently shredded (imported) XML documents to update a tree structure or to get the differences between versions of a tree structure. A GUI provides several visualizations for comparing imported tree structures.
Blur effect is an object that can apply the blur effect to HTML page elements. It takes the identifier of a given page element and starts an animation effect that progressively alters CSS properties of that element that make it appear blurred. Different CSS properties may be altered depending on the capabilities of the current browser. The object can also execute an animation that reverts the blur effect of the element. There are versions of the object either based or not in the jQuery library.

The water drop color, the animation speed, and the drop expand and fade effects are configurable options. This object is available as a standalone object or as a jQuery plug-in.
Spiked is a Python Web development framework built on a top of Twisted and Cheetah. Writing applications in Spiked is centered around creating fragments: dynamic portions of your application which in code look like Python classes with corresponding Cheetah templates, which are later grouped together into areas and pages. Collections of pages form Spiked applications. One could say that Spiked is front-end oriented framework. It also provides facilities for plugging in custom data back-ends.
