efont-unicode-bdf is a comprehensive collection of Unicode BDF fonts. It consists of 10, 12, 14, 16 and 24 pixels fonts; all fonts having bold, italic, and bold-italic typefaces. Included fonts have various origins, and the origin of each font is carefully documented to make it clear whether and under what conditions you may use, modify, or re-distribute any part of our work.
The t1utils package contains six programs that manipulate PostScript Type 1 fonts. There are programs that change PFB (binary) fonts into PFA (ASCII) format (and back), that translate fonts into a disassembled human-readable format (and back), and that translate Macintosh Type 1 fonts into PFB or PFA (and back).
Xcyr-fonts is a package of Cyrillic screen fonts for X, suitable for Belorussian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Russian (new and old orthography), Serbian, Ukrainian languages. They are encoded using a new map KOI8-C that coincides with the standard KOI8-(R,U) in the letters area but adds more Cyrillic letters (all of ISO8859-5 plus Yat', Fita, Izhitsa) and some typographic symbols (mostly from CP-1251). The font set is a fully compatible superset of the standard XFree86 Russian Cyrillic fonts, with numerous changes to improve quality.
