surblhost is a command line program that check if hostnames are blacklisted in the surbl.org lists. A blacklisted hostname means that the site is referenced in spam email. Although surbl is mostly used by spam filters such as spamassassin to identify spam email, you can use surblhost for many other purposes.
KK is a very simple PHP script that displays an ASK (Active SPAM Killer) queue and executes ASK queue commands by automatically triggering email messages. It requires the ASK queue to be imported into a MYSQL database, which is achieved with a simple bash script. KK lacks user authentication, as it isn't targeted for large amount of users. Instead, it identifies users by using a simple numeric code. This may be improved in future releases.
Sendmail Sender Address Validator is a lightweight, fast, and reliable Sendmail milter that implements a real-time Sender email Address Verification technology. This can stop some kinds of spam with a spoofed sender's email address. It also implements real-time Recipient email Address Verification, which can be useful if your machine is a backup MX for the recipient's domains, or if your machine forwards all email messages as a relay host for your domains to another internal or external email servers. It is a light alternative for the spamilter, milter-sender, and milter-ahead milters.
Units-filter is a basic standalone filter written in C, flex, and bison. It inputs strings like "1.5e3 nN.m.s^-1" (which could be the time growth ratio of a torque) and outputs the value in standard SI units, followed by the physical dimension of this value. This parser can be embedded in educational test systems, in order to analyze a student's answer to a problem of physics or chemistry.
maildirproc is a program that processes one or several existing mail boxes in the maildir format. It is primarily focused on mail sorting, which means moving, copying, forwarding, and deleting mail according to a set of rules. It can be seen as an alternative to procmail, but instead of being a delivery agent (which wants to be part of the delivery chain), maildirproc only processes mail which has already been delivered. That is a feature, not a bug.
PHP MIME Mail decoder class is a PHP class to parse and decode MIME email messages. It supports decoding single RFC 2822 MIME messages or archives that aggregate multiple messages in the mbox format. It can decode messages read from files or data strings. The bodies of multipart messages can be decoded into distinct sub-messages. Optionally, the message body data can be saved to separate files, so the class can handle messages larger than the available memory. The parser can tolerate some syntax errors in malformed messages that are not compliant with RFC 2822.
