DataReel is a free, cross-platform database and communications toolkit. It can be used to rapidly develop and deploy multi-threaded database and communications applications. The DataReel toolkit is composed of a modular C++ library designed to build cross-platform infrastructures for end-user applications, embedded systems, and reusable libraries. DataReel's unique modular design simplifies adaptation, allowing you to determine the level of complexity. DataReel makes Internet connectivity and database programming easy.
Deliver is a program for reliable and flexible local mail delivery. It's a perfect adjunct to your mail transport agent of choice (such as Sendmail or qmail). You can use it to kill spam, drop messages from specific senders, add a [LISTNAME] prefix to the subjects of messages that are delivered through mailing lists, and lots more.
DiaNa is a Perl framework designed to process a huge amount of data, performing from very easy to very complex tasks in a very efficient, spreadsheet-like, batch fashion. DiaNa also features an interactive Perl/Tk GUI, layered on the top of several batch shell-scripts. The DiaNa syntax is a very small and orthogonal superset of the underlying Perl syntax, which allows, for example, comfortable addressing of file tokens and profitable use of file formats throughout the data processing.
DisSent (short for "Distribute Sent Mails") is a program for separating your sent mail from a single folder into different folders based on properties of the individual messages in the folder. It scans your mail storage and proposes a set of actions to tidy up your sent mail folders. More precisely, it gives you a list of messages along with proposals on where to move these messages. You can then select the messages you want to move and let DisSent do the actual work.
Distributed Checksum Clearinghouse (DCC) is a system of clients and servers that collect and count checksums related to mail messages. The counts can be used by SMTP servers and mail user agents to detect and reject bulk mail. DCC servers can exchange common checksums. The checksums include values that are "fuzzy", or constant across common variations in bulk messages.
Dkfilter is a DomainKeys implementation for the Postfix mail transfer agent. It is implemented as two filters (or SMTP proxies). There is an "outbound" filter for adding DomainKeys signatures to outgoing email and an "inbound" filter for verifying signatures of incoming email. The filters can be plugged into Postfix as either Before-Queue or After-Queue Postfix content filters. For more information about DomainKeys, see http://antispam.yahoo.com/domainkeys.
The Download Slave is a very flexible script which is controlled via eMail and stores files requested for downloading on the server's harddisk or sends them via eMail to the user who asked for them. Users are identified by their eMail address and a personal password, so only authorized users can use the service.
