@1 File Upload and Download Manager is a searchable flat text database manager for managing file uploading and downloading. It lets you define your own allowable file extensions and use your own icons. The default pre-defined extensions are pdf, zip, jpg, gif, png, doc, xls, mdb, ppt, txt, rm, mov, and wmv. File sizes and record dates are displayed in search results. The database can be categorized. The maximum file size allowed can be specified.

dmerge identifies duplicate files within specified directory trees and merges them into hard links. Duplicate files are identified by hashing, optionally followed by byte comparison.

PhotoRescue will undelete pictures and other files lost on erased or corrupted media such as Compact Flash, Smartmedia, memory sticks, MMD, XD, MultiMedia, or Secure Digital memory cards. PhotoRescue supports the recovery of all file types, but its algorithms are particularly optimized for images in the JPEG, TIFF, GIF, and BMP formats. It also offers support for CRW, NEF, ORF, MRW, and many types of movie files. In some cases, it can rebuild pictures that have suffered minor corruptions. PhotoRescue even deals with cases where the filesystem on the media cannot be mounted.
