Perso can handle different types of identity card numbers (e.g. German/Austrian ID-card and passport). It can check the numbers for correctness using the "7-3-1"-checksum algorithm. Also it can extract information from the numbers (e.g. birthday) or generate example numbers using custom values.
I-Man is a Web application which serves as knowledge, general information, or contact database. It aims to be easy to use and tries not to confuse its users with too many options or parameters. Records are simple text, but all kinds of files can be attached to them as well. Users can create multiple categories of data, and the application features (optional) fine-grained user permissions. Multiple languages are supported, and Firebird/Interbase, MySQL, SQLite, or PostGreSQL can be used as a database.
HyperSQL is like the doxygen program with Javadoc added, but for SQL. It hypermaps SQL views, packages, procedures, and functions to HTML source code listings, and it shows all the code locations where these are used. You can use JavaDoc-style comments for documentation and even embed UnitTests with them.
retawq is a multi-threaded Web browser for text terminals on computers with Unix-like operating systems. It is fast, small, nicely configurable, and comfortable; e.g. the low-level network communications are performed in a non-blocking way, and you can keep open as many "virtual windows" as you want and work simultaneously in two of them in a split-screen mode.
XLocate greatly extends the usability of standard Linux slocate or GNU locate utilities. It allows for instant search of fixed strings or regexps in file names from local and remote, mounted or unmounted filesystems, as well as any number of memory sticks, removable drives, CD-ROMs, and data DVDs. It compiles natively on Qt4 and Qt3, without Qt3 compatibility required for the former.
