Abandoned Bricks is a Tetris clone where bricks of various shapes fall from the top and you can move and arrange them to fit nicely on the bottom. When you fill a line without holes it is removed from the heap. It can be played either in a single-player or in a duel-mode with two players playing hotseat on the same computer. There is also a Bastet mode, based on the Bastet game by Federico Poloni.
Tiled is a general purpose tile map editor. It's built to be easy to use, yet it is capable of catering to a host of varying game engines, whether your game is an RPG, platformer, or Breakout clone. Tiled supports plugins to read and write map formats other than its own map format.
Bork is a very small, cross-platform file encryption utility using a password-based RC4 algorithm. It is designed to be included in source code form along with the files it encrypts for long-term storage (eg on CD-R). Its minimal external dependencies are designed to make it fairly futureproof.
Secure Back Door (SBD) is a tool that provides ultra-secure and minimal access to a computer, which allows you to run a single command based on a one time key. It is good if you don't want to have an SSH server running all the time, and only want to start it when needed. Because it is written in only a few lines of code, it is hoped that it will be less susceptible to security exploits than a program like SSH.
InkTank is an online library system designed to archive fan fiction, stories written using an already-imagined world. It has many features tailored for such, including the ability to categorize stories by characters, genres, and "pairings". It also includes an awards system for highlighting outstanding works.
The Ascii2Binary project consists of two complementary programs that convert between textual and binary representations of numbers. Ascii2Binary reads input consisting of textual representations of numbers separated by whitespace and produces as output the binary equivalents. It is useful for generating test data and linking programs that generate textual output to programs that require binary input. Binary2Ascii converts binary numbers to text. In both programs, the type and size/precision of the input or output is selected using command line flags.
