rmlint is a command line tool to clean your filesystem from various sorts of lint, such as duplicates. It tends to be much faster than fdupes. Additionally, it is able to find empty files and directories, nonstripped binaries, files with the same basenames (nameclusters), old temporary data, strange filenames, and bad links.
rocknroll (Rsync fOr baCKup and Roll) is an incremental backup maker based on rsync. It backs up a remote directory tree to a destination directory on the local host. For this backup, it manages a set of archives named tag.1, tag.2, etc. Using the famous "link-dest" option of rsync, it keeps only the difference between the different archives.
rofldns is DNS server which is a fork of loldns, itself a fork of djbdns. It inherits all the good stuff from loldns, which includes multiple listening IPs, running as a service rather than under daemontools, and some other useful patches, but in addition builds under automake and trivially makes an RPM.
Rpmrestore allows the user to show the differences (user, group, mode, mtime, size) between a package's status on install and its current status. This act as an improvement of the functionality provided by the "rpm -V" command. It also allows the user to restore the attributes to their original state (install state). It features a batch mode, an interactive mode, a logfile, and rollback.
The rt-stepper project provides a USB CNC controller solution. Most CNC controllers are designed to be driven with a PC parallel port. The rt-stepper solution replaces the parallel port with USB. Users can convert their existing parallel port CNC controller into a USB CNC controller. Designers can integrate the hardware into there own CNC controller.
