pyWebSMS is a program which lets you send SMS through the Internet without opening a Web browser. You can send multiple SMS, save your contacts, view the history, and much more. It's completely modular, so you can add or remove providers for sending SMS. You can make your own module for your provider if one doesn't exists yet by programming it in Python.
libphidgets is a user-space access library for the Phidget devices. It provides a generic and flexible way to access and interact with the Phidgets, and comes with all the advantages of a user-space library. It is based on libhid (which is based on libusb), thus it requires no HID support in the kernel. Furthermore, it aims to support all operating system supported by libusb/libhid: Linux, BSD, OS X, and Windows.
FCKosc puts a WYSIWYG HTML editor into OsCommerce's admin section in product descriptions, newsletters, and the main page. FCKosc is built on FCKeditor. This editor will work in IE 5.5+, Firefox 1.0+, Mozilla 1.3+, and Netscape 7+. FCKosc requires no changes to OsCommerce's database. Minimal changes were made to the files, which helps reduce the posibility of conflicts with other additions. FCKosc is easy to upgrade as new versions are released.
skiTunes is a fast, extensible alternative to iTunes. It can use Apple Quicktime, VLC, MPlayer, LAME, and cdrecord. It differs from Apple's offering in that it is written in Cocoa and uses native widgets, as well as supporting formats iTunes doesn't, such as OGG and WMA. Using native widgets will allow it to automatically match the rest of the OS when a theme is applied, unlike iTunes, which requires hacking in order to make it match. It will also offer a skinnable "mini- mode".
Dico is a Java application to display database schema. It allows importing database schema from an existing database (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL), offers a customizable display of tables and relationships, and allows you to print to any system printer and export to various formats (PDF, EMF, SVG, and others).
multihomed is a script that can detect when your primary Internet uplink goes down and switch to a backup uplink. It's smarter than many similar scripts: it continuously pings several hosts around the Internet using both uplinks, and elects the best one as primary. You can define the priority with which uplinks are tried. This can be very useful if you have a per-traffic contract on one of your uplinks and a flat-traffic contract on another one: you can configure multihomed to use the per-traffic uplink only if the other one is not working. It runs as a daemon, and you can define the interval between consecutive checks. It can detect failures in your ISP's uplinks too; by checking multiple remote hosts around the Internet, you can tell if your ISP is fully working or not. This is much more reliable than simply pinging a single server or (worse) your default router. It is very flexible: you can easily customize the commands to execute whenever one of the links goes down.
