Sharehound is a network file systems indexer and Google-like searcher written in Java and based on Apache Lucene. It currently supports SMB file shares (i.e. MS Windows-based network shares) and FTP resources. A Web UI is used for search and crawl monitoring. An RSS feed is provided for search results that include deleted files info.
shd-tcp-tools is a set of TCP network tools that supports port forwarding, network load balancing, rate limiting, and running servers behind firewalls. tcp-pf, listentwo, and connecttwo are port forwarding tools. tcppipe is a one-directional TCP pipe that can be used as a substitute for one-directional netcat transfers, but with load balancing and rate control support. tcp-pf can be used to forward a port from one host to another with load balancing and rate control support. network load balancing scheme means using an interface or destination host based on past transfer history. The listentwo and connecttwo tools can be used to run servers inside firewalled networks through third party TCP proxies.
shrip is an application for ripping and encoding DVDs into AVI, OGM, MKV, or MP4 files. It relies on OGMRip to perform its tasks. It also supports a wide variety of codecs such as MPEG4, XviD, Theora, and H.264 for video, Vorbis, MP3, AAC, AC3, DTS, and WAV for audio, and VobSub and Srt for subtitles.
SIGOF (Security Information Graphics Oriented Forensic) has been developed as a complement to the ACID or BASE project by implementing useful and detailed graphical presentation of security information/events. This program can exploit any secuity information stored in an ACID/BASE database schema. SIGOF introduces another way to manage security forensics and analysis by providing graphical representation of statistical and security trends. This approach provides the ability to manage a large amount of security events.
silencio is a script that generates a one page Web page. Configuration is through variables in the script. It supports the display of a Twitter RSS feed within a three column design. Future versions will allow easy toggling of the number of content columns as well as support for other social network statuses.
