CMDBuild (Configuration and Management Data Base) is a fully configurable Web application for managing asset lifecycles. It includes workflow, report, dashboard, attachment archiving, and georeference functions. It supports the management of hardware devices (client and server computers, peripheral devices, network and phone equipment), software (basic, environment, application), services, and documents (contracts, manuals). However it can be used as a standard asset management system (real estate, inventory, maintenance process, etc). It is also a framework suitable for applications that manage office business using workflows.
Hunmorph-foma is a two way tool for Hungarian morphology. In analysis mode it shows the word stem and the conjugation names for any given conjugated word. In generation mode it will generate conjugated word forms given the stem and the desired grammatical form. Hunmorph-foma is fully automatable through its client-server interface.
Networked Decision Making is a simple, fun platform for group decision making. There are many situations in which groups need to make decisions, and current methods such as meetings and voting are rather inefficient and difficult to scale. A major opportunity exists to use technology to complement and improve on these processes.
ARP Neighbor Cache Fingerprinter is a tool that provides a mechanism for remote operating system detection by extrapolating characteristics of the target system's underlying neighbor cache and general ARP behavior. Given the non-existence of any standard specification for how the neighbor cache should behave, several differences in network stack implementations can be used for unique identification. The main disadvantage of this tool versus traditional fingerprinting is that because it's based on a Layer 2 protocol instead of a Layer 3 protocol, the target machine that is being tested must reside on the same Ethernet broadcast domain (usually the same physical network).
LifeV is a finite element (FE) library providing implementations of state of the art mathematical and numerical methods. It serves both as a research and production library. It has already been used in medical and industrial contexts to simulate fluid structure interaction and mass transport. LifeV is the joint collaboration between four institutions: École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (CMCS) in Switzerland, Politecnico di Milano (MOX) in Italy, INRIA (REO, ESTIME) in France, and Emory University (Sc. Comp) in the U.S.A.
Collax Groupware Suite is a complete collaboration, e-mail, and messaging server with Outlook MAPI support. It offers enterprise email server functions, anti-spam and anti-virus filters, GUI management, a file server for SMB, NFS, FTP, and Apple shares, backup/restore server, IM server, and fax and SMS server. The groupware offers AJAX Web mail, calendar, team calendar, contacts, and tasks, and supports ActiveSync for mobile devices. It is free for private or commercial use of up to five users.
OnPosix is a tiny library to abstract POSIX mechanisms to C++ developers. Most features offered by this library can be found either inside the Boost library or in a library compliant with the C++11 standard. Unfortunately, however, for some embedded Linux devices, these libraries cannot represent viable solutions, due to the lack of memory space (for the Boost libraries) and the lack of a new C++ compiler (e.g., on Xilinx MicroBlaze). On these platforms, the OnPosix library represents a good and cheap solution to have object-oriented POSIX mechanisms. The library offers support for threads, mutual exclusion, sockets, logging, timing, etc.
Slim HTML5 Audio jQuery Plugin is a very simple jQuery plugin to embed an audio player. It can insert HTML to play a given audio file using the HTML5 audio tag. It also inserts the embed container tab as fallback when the audio tag is not supported by the Web browser (e.g., IE7 and 8).
