mujMail is a powerful and graphically atractive email client for mobile devices. Its operations are multithreaded, so you can send mail, retrieve mail from multiple mailboxes, and change settings simultaneously. It uses RMS to store mail messages persistently on the device, so don't have to connect to a server to read old mail. It has the unique ability to redownload a damaged message or body part and repair it.
multihomed is a script that can detect when your primary Internet uplink goes down and switch to a backup uplink. It's smarter than many similar scripts: it continuously pings several hosts around the Internet using both uplinks, and elects the best one as primary. You can define the priority with which uplinks are tried. This can be very useful if you have a per-traffic contract on one of your uplinks and a flat-traffic contract on another one: you can configure multihomed to use the per-traffic uplink only if the other one is not working. It runs as a daemon, and you can define the interval between consecutive checks. It can detect failures in your ISP's uplinks too; by checking multiple remote hosts around the Internet, you can tell if your ISP is fully working or not. This is much more reliable than simply pinging a single server or (worse) your default router. It is very flexible: you can easily customize the commands to execute whenever one of the links goes down.
Mumufs is a virtual file system to support IPC of type many-to-many. It resides in RAM, and supports regular files, directories, symbolic, and hard links. Each file on mumufs is associated with a data block of an arbitrary size. Read/write operations for a file correspond to read/write operations from/to the corresponding data block. Each successful write to a file operation replaces the previously stored data block. Each new read/write operation must start from the shift 0 from the beginning of a file. An operation is considered successful only if the whole data block is read or written. Each file can be opened for reading and writing simultaneously many times. Both blocking and non-blocking IO are supported. Mumufs supports select и poll operations.
