Red language is a native-code compiled functional, imperative, symbolic, and homoiconic programming language that re-uses most of REBOL's syntax and semantics. Both static and JIT compilation support are planned. A strong emphasis is made on concurrency and both task and data parallelism support using an actor-like abstraction and parallel collections (Scala-like). The target range of usage spreads from low-level system programming (thanks to the built-in Red/System C-level DSL) and embedded systems, up to high-level scripting, with an optional REPL console.
IfcOpenShell is a software library that helps users and software developers to work with the IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) file format. The IFC file format can be used to describe building and construction data. The format is commonly used for building information modelling. IfcOpenShell uses Open CASCADE to convert the implicit geometry in IFC files into explicit geometry. At the time of writing, IfcOpenShell provides an importer for Autodesk 3ds Max, an importer for Blender, and a stand-alone application to convert an IFC file into a Wavefront .obj file. Furthermore, software developers are explicitly encouraged to use the IfcOpenShell library in their own applications.
Co-Ment is a Web service for annotating, discussing, and writing texts online. The editing environment is wiki-like, supporting many syntaxes (Markdown, RST, and HTML), and allows for finely controlled layouts including tables and images. Users can comment on extracts of the text, and advanced comment navigation features allow new annotations to be discovered or the history of a debate to be browsed. It is also possible to set up an email alert for text edits or new comments. Import/export is supported for many formats including TXT, DOC, ODT, and HTML.
pycdep is a tool for analyzing and visualizing C/C++ header file dependencies. A script extracts information about your code and dumps it in a Prolog database, which is used to query the dependency graph. It comes with a large number of predefined queries for finding out which files include or depend on which other files, how files depend on another file, circular dependencies, transitively implied dependencies, and design rule checks (limitations on which project can include from which other project). Visualization is supported by dumping graphs to .dot files. It also has the beginnings of a natural language interface.
OCE (OpenCascade Community Edition) is a community version of the OpenCascade Technology 3D kernel, a C++ library for 3D CAD development. It includes components for 3D surface and solid BRep modeling, visualization, data exchange (STEP, IGES), and rapid application development. OCE aims to fix bugs and improve code quality and portability.
Flickernoise is a user-friendly VJ application optimized for the Milkymist One and the Milkymist SoC. It renders hardware-accelerated visual effects comparable (and, to some extent, compatible) with those of MilkDrop 1.x, the popular audio visualization plug-in for Winamp. Flickernoise allows the creation of visual patches and their connection with all the interfaces that the Milkymist One provides, thanks to an easy-to-use graphical user interface. The visuals can react to sound and MIDI events. A camera can be connected to create live phantasmagoric images of yourself.
ClassicMenu Indicator is a notification area applet (application indicator) for the top panel of Ubuntu's Unity desktop environment. It provides a simple way to get a classic GNOME-style application menu for those who prefer this over the Unity dash menu. Like the classic GNOME menu, it includes Wine games and applications if you have those installed.
FCEUX is a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Famicom, and Famicom Disk System (FDS) emulator. It supports both PAL (European) and NTSC (USA/JPN) modes. It supports both Windows and SDL versions for cross compatibility. The FCEUX concept is that of an "all in one" emulator that offers accurate emulation and the best options for both casual play and a variety of more advanced emulator functions. For advanced users, FCEUX offers tools for debugging, ROM-hacking, map making, tool-assisted movies, and Lua scripting. FCEUX is an evolution of the FCE Ultra emulator. FCEUX merges elements from FCEU Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, FCEUXDSP CE, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU.
