Power Form Validation is class which helps a programmer to validate form inputs just in few lines of code. This class can help control whether a field is empty, whether a component is selected, whether the values of two components are the same, whether a text entry value consists only of letters, whether a value was changed from a given value, and whether a value is longer than or shorter than or equal to a given value. The class can also control how many components are not selected or how many of them have no value entered. Email addresses can be validated with regular expressions.
yodl implements a pre-document language and tools to process it. It lets you write a single document, then use a tool (e.g., yodl2html) to convert it to some final document language (HTML, man, LaTeX, etc.). Yodl's document language is easy to use and to expand. Predefined converters are available from Yodl to HTML, LaTeX, groff (manpages), text, and (experimentally) XML, but new converters can be added easily.
mod_libpq is an Apache 1.3 Web server module which maintains persistent connections to one or more PostgreSQL databases, eliminating the need for cumbersome middleware "glue". Millions of complex pages can be fully or partially pre-rendered, stored in a database, and then served directly to the Web. One database can be associated with the main Apache server and an additional database can be associated with each virtual host defined in httpd.conf. Requests are converted into a pair of user configurable queries which are sent directly to the database via PostgreSQL's libpq API. The first query processes the request headers and the second query returns the document content.
