GeneSyS aims to define and implement a middleware architecture for generic system monitoring and supervision. It is an Information Society Project (IST-2001-34162) sponsored by the European Commission. It provides a middleware- and agent-based approach for system monitoring and management. It uses WebServices technology (SOAP) for communication between components and XML-based descriptions of monitoring information.
NetOculus is a network monitoring system that provides all the functions of the well-known monitoring system MRTG. It also has a number of its own benefits. It can automatically monitor any kind of detectable alteration in a computer network (and in relatively separated network areas). It can efficiently notify staff about hardware state changes. Analytical information is aggregated. Specific pieces of hardware are associated with the staff members who responsible for them. The solutions for solved problems are reported to the staff for further use.
The WiKID Strong Authentication System is a highly scalable, secure two-factor authentication system. It is simple to implement and maintain, allows users to be validated automatically, requires no hardware tokens, has a simple API for application support (via Ruby, PHP, Java, COM, Python, etc.), supports multiple domains, and supports replication for fault tolerance and scalability. It also supports mutual /host and transaction authentication, wireless tokens only domains, locked tokens (to your PC), anti-keystroke logger keypad PIN entry, etc.
Trip Tracker is a position tracking client-server system. It's designed to assist people in setting up a real-time tracking environment with either a private or public tracking server. The Trip Tracker GPS client sends coordinates to the tracking server to update its position. In the event that the GPS client loses its Internet connection, it can send all collected coordinates to the tracking server as soon as it's back online. The tracking server saves all the coordinates and can forward them to listening map clients.
myKnowledgeExplorer (mKE) is an intelligent knowledge base assistant. All communication is in a user-friendly, English-like language called mKR. mKR is designed to help human beings work more intelligently. mKE command line options include language definitions for RDF, OWL, CYC, and SUMO. mKR scripts may include embedded calls to the Unix shell. mKR gives special emphasis to context hierarchies, genus-differentia definitions, n-ary relations, questions, and action/methods.
