OpenHacha is an implementation of the proprietary, Windows-only program Hacha. It is based on the libhacha2 library, a C# implementation of the Hacha program feature set developed by the Dalle project. It aims to provide a graphical frontend and a text console client to manage and create Hacha files. It is developed under the MONO:: platform.
GeneSyS aims to define and implement a middleware architecture for generic system monitoring and supervision. It is an Information Society Project (IST-2001-34162) sponsored by the European Commission. It provides a middleware- and agent-based approach for system monitoring and management. It uses WebServices technology (SOAP) for communication between components and XML-based descriptions of monitoring information.
Smuxi is an irssi-inspired, flexible, user-friendly, and cross-platform IRC client for sophisticated users. Smuxi is based on the client-server model: The core application (engine) can be placed onto a server which is connected to the Internet around-the-clock; one or more frontends then connect to the core. This allows the connection to IRC to be kept up even when all frontends have been closed. The combination of screen and irssi served as the example for this architecture. Smuxi also supports the regular single application mode. This behaves like a typical IRC client; it doesn't need separate core management and utilizes a local engine that is used by the local frontend client.
Spring is a lightweight Java/J2EE application framework based on code published in "Expert One-on-One J2EE Design and Development" by Rod Johnson. It includes powerful JavaBeans-based configuration management applying Inversion-of-Control principles, a generic abstraction layer for transaction management allowing for pluggable transaction managers, a JDBC abstraction layer, integration with Hibernate, JDO, Apache OJB, and iBATIS SQL Maps, AOP functionality, and a flexible MVC Web application framework with multiple view technologies. There is also a .NET port available.
Indexator.NET is an application written in C# that is able to index directories and store information about the files found in a MySQL database, associating it with labels (so it can be used as a CD cataloguer). The information can be consulted in several ways: a console client, a graphical client (GTK#), asp.net Web, an asp.net service, or using remoting. It has two main objectives: to be used as a CD-ROM cataloguer, and to be used as a way to explain the possibities of Mono (and .NET) in educational environments.
