white_dune is a graphical VRML97/X3DV editor, simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, animation tool, and VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler in development. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins ("HTML for realtime 3D"). X3DV is the direct successor of VRML97. VRML97 and X3DV have support for animation, real-time interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can read, create, and display VRML97/X3DV files and let the user change the scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.
nexB OpenAssets is a tool for inventorying, managing, and monitoring applications, software, hardware, networks, and generally any IT asset. Ell is a library to write EBNF grammars as C++ code for quick development of LL(n) parsers or similar applications. It is not a tool to generate parsers (like ANTLR): the grammar you write is directly embedded into your C++ code. The core library is very light (less than 2000 lines of headers) and written in generation templates to achieve the fastest execution. The service provided by Ell is very similar to what Boost Spirit provides, but with a simpler object model, and without the need of the Boost library (it only depends on STL).
tvpvrd is a PVR daemon for Linux that offers the ability to schedule and manage TV recordings using one or multiple installed analogue TV capture cards, e.g. Hauppauge. The daemon is interfaced either through its full command language via a provided command line shell or through a basic (built-in) Web interface provided by the built in micro Web server. The goal is to provide an advanced recording and transcoding (using ffmpeg) server without the need to configure databases or a complex GUI. The server is completely self-contained and uses an XML DB in plain text format to store future recordings.
JBuddy Developer Tools is a robust suite of APIs and software development frameworks for creating instant messaging applications and solutions. It is comprised of the JBuddy SDK, JBuddy Bot Builder, and JBuddy Bot Framework. The JBuddy SDK is a unified IM client API supporting public IM services including AIM, ICQ, Windows Live (MSN), Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, and enterprise IM servers including Lotus Sametime, Microsoft Live Communications Server (LCS 2005), Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS 2007), and XMPP (Jabber) servers. The core JBuddy SDK implementation and APIs are available in Java while a tight C++ wrapper exposes the JBuddy APIs for Microsoft COM and .NET. The JBuddy Bot Builder and JBuddy Bot Framework are built on top of the JBuddy SDK and greatly simplify building, testing, and deploying powerful IM Bots.
DeTraS provides several tools to track development activities by registering applications that developers use on an X11 session. It also allows you to send collected data to a server and takes care about your privacy. The idea behind DeTraS is taken from Timeline, a shell script written by Nat Friedman.
