Oak monitors syslogs from a collection of servers, and notifies the operators when problems arise. In addition to providing immediate notification of critical issues, it will also batch less critical problems into summary messages, which can be sent less often, and via any medium. It is part of the 'ktools' collection of network administration utilities.

The goal of Escape-K is to provide an all-in-one platform for IT service management. Zibu is a small tool that allows you to cyclically compare access permissions and checksums of files provided by users, with a database generated at first run (to be exact, generated with --init or --update mode). But its main feature is restoring valid access permissions, and/or executing your commands when checksums are invalid.
