mod_musicindex is an Apache module aimed at being a C alternative to the Perl module Apache::MP3. It allows nice displaying of directories containing MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, or MP4/AAC files, including sorting them on various fields, streaming/downloading them, constructing playlists, and searching. It also provides features such as RSS and Podcast feeds, multiple CSS support, and archive downloads.
mntd is an automount daemon and shared library written for automatically mounting hotplug devices such as USB sticks, Compact Flash cards, or other mountable devices on Linux 2.4.x and 2.6.x kernels. You only have to plug in your hotplug device and wait a little bit. The library can be used for user mode programs that want to be informed when devices are mounted and unmounted. It will use now devfs to get the device changes. So no need for hal and udev any more.
OGMRip is an application and a set of libraries for ripping and encoding DVDs into AVI/OGM files using a wide variety of codecs. It relies on mplayer, mencoder, ogmtools, oggenc, and lame to perform its tasks. The GUI features a clean HIG-compliant GNOME 2 interface and tries to minimize (as much as possible) esoteric settings.
liblProc is a library to allow you to get useful information from /proc. The /proc directory contains virtual files that are windows into the current state of the running Linux kernel. It is used to provide information about the system (originally about processes, hence the name). The liblproc library has 167 functions to allow you to get 156 distinctly useful pieces of information from 19 files in /proc. Some functions also process the information to make it more significant.
