GCompris is an educational software suite with numerous activities for children aged 2 to 10. Some of the activities are game-orientated, but nonetheless still educational. These include computer discovery (keyboard, mouse, different mouse gestures), algebra (table memory, enumeration, double entry table, mirror image), science (the canal lock, the water cycle, the submarine, electric simulation), geography (place the country on the map), games (chess, memory, connect 4, oware, sudoku), reading practice, and others (learn to tell time, puzzles of famous paintings, vector drawing, cartoon making, etc.). It currently offers in excess of 100 activities, and more are being developed.

With LinkChecker, you can check HTML documents and Web sites for broken links. It features recursion, robots.txt exclusion protocol support, HTTP proxy support, i18n support, multithreading, regular expression filtering rules for links, and user/password checking for authorized pages. Gammu (formerly known as MyGnokii2) is a cellular manager for various mobile phones/modems. It supports a wide variety of Nokia, Symbian, and AT devices (Siemens, Alcatel, Falcom, WaveCom, IPAQ, Samsung, SE, and others) over cables, infrared, or BlueTooth. It contains libraries with functions for ringtones, phonebook, SMS, logos, WAP, date/time, alarm, calls, and more (used by external applications like Wammu). It also includes a command line utility that can make many things (including backups) and an SMS gateway with full MySQL and PostgreSQL support from the PHP interface.

GYach Enhanced is a feature-rich, improved version of the original Gyach. It is the first Yahoo! client for Linux with voice chat capabilities. It offers almost all of the features you would expect to find in the official Windows Yahoo! client. The program offers support for chat, conferences, buddy lists, and My Yahoo content. In addition, Gyach Enhanced offers many features not available in the official Yahoo! clients for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Webcam support is under development and planned for the future. libhid is a user-space HID access library. It provides a generic and flexible way to access and interact with USB HID devices, much like libusb does for plain USB devices. It is based on libusb, thus it requires no HID support in the kernel. Furthermore, it aims to support all operating system supported by libusb: Linux, BSD, OS X, and Windows. Python bindings are provided, and other high-level bindings are available upon request.
