jPDFViewer is a Java bean which embeds a PDF viewer in your Java applications and applets. It can read, display, and print PDF files, fill interactive PDF forms (acroforms, xfa forms), view all markup annotations, validate and display digital signatures, and perform text search, selection, and highlighting. It provides easy navigation with different views: thumbnails, bookmarks, annotations, etc. It has a customizable toolbar and user interface. It supports all image types, including JBIG2 and JPEG 2000, and all PDF font types (Types 0-3, OpenType, TrueType). It supports Acrobat PDF format 1.7, including layers, all PDF color spaces, including pattern and separation, and file attachments. There's no need to install or configure additional drivers or software when deploying.
superGlobals is a PHP library that transparently injects into a superglobal or global variable while keeping all functionality of a regular array, but extending it with type casting and URI parsing into that array. It can use memcached for additional performance and can interact with custom DB abstractions (mostly PEAR). It may filter, cast, or validate variables as: boolean, integer, float, string, array, object, IPv4 address, IPv6 address, regular expression, URL, URL encoded string, HTML escaped string, or SQL escaped string. It is possible to pass a function name callback as a casting or validation method. Also, it is possible to pass multiple casting methods for each variable, which is useful for array processing.

hwloc provides command line tools and a C API to obtain the hierarchical map of key computing elements, such as: NUMA memory nodes, shared caches, processor sockets, processor cores, and processor "threads". hwloc also gathers various attributes such as cache and memory information, and is portable across a variety of different operating systems and platforms. hwloc primarily aims at helping high-performance computing (HPC) applications, but is also applicable to any project seeking to exploit code and/or data locality on modern computing platforms.
Brace is a dialect of C that looks like Python. It has coroutines, hygenic macros, header generation, and libraries with graphics and sound. It is meant to be good for beginners, kids, and experts. Brace is translated to C, then compiled, with #! support and cached executables. It is fairly portable, and runs on GNU/Linux, Unix, and Windows with MinGW. It should also run on Mac OS X. It comes with a lot of demo programs, many with animated graphics.
Goptical is the GNU Optical design and simulation library. It provides model classes for optical components, surfaces, and materials and enables building of optical systems by creating and placing various optical components in a 3D space and simulating light propagation through the system. Classical optical design analysis tools can be used on optical systems. It takes advantages of the C++ object model to allow the building of complex optical systems with a few class instantiations, as optical components are represented by language objects.
D'Enfent Engine is a library that contains high-level classes to access OpenGL functions. It contains classes that may be very useful in game development: GUI components, sprite classes, and classes to handle mouse/keyboard events. Open Basic (OB) is an implementation of the BASIC programming language. It is intended to for embedding into user applications as a scripting language. User-defined functions can be written in C/C++, assembler, or other languages and can be activated from BASIC programs, receive parameters of different types, return their results.
Bullet is a 3D game multiphysics library that provides state of the art collision detection and soft body and rigid body dynamics. Bullet is integrated into Cinema 4D, Lightwave, and Blender. A Houdini and Maya Plugin is available. It has a modular extendible C++ design with hot-swap of most components. The back-ends were optimized for pthreads/Win32 Threads multi-threading and PS3 Cell SPU. Other features include discrete and continuous collision detection (CCD), swept collision queries, ray casting with custom collision filtering, generic convex support (using GJK), capsule, cylinder, cone, sphere, box, and non-convex triangle meshes. Rigid body dynamics include constraint solvers, generic constraints, ragdolls, hinges, and ball-sockets. Constraint limits and motors are supported. Soft body support includes cloth, rope, and deformable objects. Import and export into COLLADA 1.4 Physics format is supported. Dynamic deformation of non-convex triangle meshes is supported by refitting the acceleration structures.
