white_dune is a graphical VRML97/X3DV editor, simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, animation tool, and VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler in development. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins ("HTML for realtime 3D"). X3DV is the direct successor of VRML97. VRML97 and X3DV have support for animation, real-time interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can read, create, and display VRML97/X3DV files and let the user change the scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.

There are many photo-gallery programs available. Zoph is different, as it concentrates on the management of large collection of photos instead of just showing them on the Web. It can store a lot of information about your photos, including the regular EXIF info, photographer, location, title, description, rating, and the people in the photo. Graidle (Graph aid) is a Web application for creating charts. It can be used to generate several types of graphical diagrams. It has classes specialized in generating histograms (also horizontal), spider graphs, pie charts, and line (also filled) charts. Several visual aspects may be customized, such as colors, font dimensions, labels, and axes. The diagrams are generated as true color images using PHP and GD library functions, and can be displayed as the current script output or saved to a file in the PNG format.

Pigalle (PIcture GALLEry) is a slick Web based photo album written in PHP 5. It makes it easy to create and maintain photo albums via an intuitive interface, as users need only upload their files to a server and let the program generate thumbnails for them. Visitors can choose their preferred image resolution and images will be generated on the fly. These generated images are cached and all meta-information such as album descriptions, image information, and user settings are stored in a database. A back-end administration interface helps to manage the files, edit the descriptions, and so on, making it very easy and convenient.
