Canari is a rapid transform development framework for Maltego. The original focus of Canari was to provide a set of transforms which would aid in the execution of penetration tests and vulnerability assessments. Ever since its first prototype, it has become evident that the framework can be used for much more than that. Canari is perfect for anyone wishing to graphically represent their data in Maltego without the hassle of learning a whole bunch of unnecessary stuff. It has generated interest from digital forensics analysts to pen-testers, and even psychologists. Canari's core features include an easily extensible and configurable framework which promotes maximum reusability, a set of powerful and easy-to-use scripts for debugging, configuring, and installing transforms, and a great number of community-provided transforms.
Antivirus Live CD is a 4MLinux fork including the ClamAV scanner. It's designed for system admins who need a lightweight live CD with an antivirus scanner. Both Ethernet (including Wi-Fi) and dial-up (including fast USB modems) Internet connections are supported, to enable automatic updates of the virus signature database. All partitions are mounted automatically during boot so they can be scanned by ClamAV (the supported filesystems are: btrfs, ext2, ext3, ext4, FAT, HFS, HFS+, jfs, Minix, NTFS, ReiserFS, and XFS). Antivirus Live CD image is fully compatible with UNetbootin, which can be used to create an easy-to-use Antivirus Live USB.
Fosfat is a C library for providing read-only access to a Smaky formatted disk. Currently, only a tool and a FUSE extension that use this library can be used for reading a directory and copying a file. Smaky is a system developed in Switzerland at the EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne).
