SPINA is software for determining constant structure-parameters of endocrine feedback control systems from hormone levels obtained in vivo. The first version of this cybernetic approach allows for evaluating the functional status of the thyroid gland, i.e. thyroid's secretory capacity (GT) and sum activity of peripheral deiodinases (GD).
Weasel Reader is an e-text reader for Palm OS. It is geared towards reading Project Gutenberg e-texts, but will work on any ASCII file. It uses zlib for compression, resulting in good file sizes, an important consideration for Palms. Weasel reads both zTXT (its own format) and PalmDoc files. It includes features such as bookmarks, annotations, categorization, searching, beaming, VFS access, and many display options. Also included is makeztxt, a command line program to generate zTXT databases. makeztxt supports regular expressions to automatically generate a list of bookmarks. Java and Perl/PHP versions of makeztxt are also available.
Samurai Kanji a flash-card application for memorizing kanji. It is inspired by "Remembering the Kanji I" by James Heisig. It can run on any PDA or mobile device running PalmOS, SymbianOS, or Windows CE. What primarily makes this different from other, similar applications is that the kanji are divided into the same lessons that Heisig uses in his book. The user can then choose which lessons to drill on as the user progresses through the book.
UniMatrix is an application for planning your everyday business at university. It helps you to manage your lessons and exams. The program starts up by presenting you with your upcoming lessons, and it can show all necessary information on one screen. Internationalized versions are available.
TourViewer is a program to evaluate CicloSport HAC4 files received through the serial interface of a Palm Pilot. It can receive and send files, and it can name and categorize files. It can show a sorted list of tours, file info, tour statistics, a graph of tour data, a table with tour data, tour marks, and a pulse range.
