mobileTV is a clone of the PC/Amiga game "Mad TV". The objective of the game is to manage a TV station. Scheduling the daily program includes placing movies and commercials. An hourly newscast also requires attention, as viewers want to see the latest, most interesting (and most expensive) stories. The player can produce shows, movies, and series. mobileTV should run on most recent mobile phones.
The Volleyball Manager supports the planning, management, and documentation of volleyball tournaments and leagues. An automatic scheduler generates an optimized schedule, which can be freely modified. The projector and terminal module offer more transparency for participants and visitors of tournaments.
AsItHappens is a real-time network statistics collector and grapher. It collects data from devices over a network via ICMP and SNMP and displays them on a graph, optionally storing collected data in a database for later retrieval. Collection types include network response, bandwidth usage, processor usage, memory usage, Cisco NBAR, and Cisco NetFlow. AsItHappens polls data in regular intervals, which can be in the order of milliseconds, to give immediate feedback on network performance, and it can also graph flow information from packet capture files. AsItHappens includes the Self Defending Network, a horizontal shoot-em-up based on collected graph data.
ScenePainter is a program for creating comics by (re-)arranging prefabricated graphic elements, taken from a media library. It can also be used as a developer tool for programmers and artists that are building games using threering's nenya library. Currently, ScenePainter does not ship with resourcefiles of its own, but is able to extract graphics from the games "Puzzle Pirates" and "Bang Howdy" by three rings design, inc. These graphics however, are copyrigthed materials and require permission to be used (e.g. for creating fan art).
Guitar Trainer is an application for mobile devices that helps musicians learn the fretboard of their stringed instrument thoroughly. It supports guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, and cavaquinho (in standard and alternate tunings). It includes a training mode, a game mode, and a tuner. It should work on any Java device supporting CLDC 1.1/MIDP 2.0.
