white_dune is a graphical VRML97/X3DV editor, simple NURBS/Superformula 3D modeller, animation tool, and VRML97/X3DV commandline compiler in development. VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is the ISO standard for displaying 3D data over the Web via browser plugins ("HTML for realtime 3D"). X3DV is the direct successor of VRML97. VRML97 and X3DV have support for animation, real-time interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can read, create, and display VRML97/X3DV files and let the user change the scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via "quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.
QCad is a powerful but easy to use 2D CAD program for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X. It uses DXF as its standard file format. FidoCadJ is a very easy-to-use editor, with a library of electrical symbols and footprints (through hole and SMD). Drawings can be exported in several graphic formats (PDF, EPS, PGF for LaTeX, SVG, PNG, and JPEG). Although very simple and not relying on any netlist concept, FidoCadJ can be considered a basic electronic design automation program. FidoCadJ uses a file format containing only UTF-8 text, which is very compact and suited for copying and pasting with newsgroups and forum messages. This determined its success, as it is quite versatile for simple mechanical drawings as well as for electronics.
Barcode Studio is designed to quickly create high-quality barcode images. It is commonly used for pre-press requirements, postal bar-coding, desktop publishing applications, mobile tagging, print shops, and general barcode purposes. It supports all linear barcodes (like Code39, 2of5, EAN, UPC, Code39, Code128, and EAN/UCC128), 2D barcodes (like PDF417, QR-Code, Aztec Code, DataMatrix ECC200, and MaxiCode), GS1 DataBar, and HIBC codes. Barcode data can be entered manually or imported from external data sources. Serial numbers are created automatically on demand. It has a built-in quality preview. Single as well as batch barcode creation is supported via the command line or the graphical user interface. Barcodes can be printed directly, copied to the clipboard, generated as image files (BMP, GIF, JPG, TIFF, or PNG) or exported as vector graphics (EPS, EMF, WMF , PDF, or PostScript). The created barcodes are useable immediately: Just insert the barcode graphics into your artwork, database, form, or any document.
