Centre boasts an intuitive interface to manage student demographic information, perform complex scheduling, and manage student attendance, grades, and eligibility. Centre greatly cuts down the time it takes to report to state agencies and distribute student information to teachers, support staff, and parents.
Daily Diabetes Diet Counter is a Web-based tracking program for people with diabetes. Just open the Counter and leave it open throughout the day, adding foods as you eat them. The Counter keeps track of calories, starches, vegetables, fruits, milks, meats, and fats. As you add foods, the Counter keeps a list that can be printed at the end of the day.
Electronic Engineering Tool is a Web-based tool that includes an electronic formula calculator and converter functions. It very useful when working with electronics, both for engineers and amateurs. For example, it includes converters for dBm-to-Watt and Fahrenheit-to-Celsius, and it can calculate Ohm's law, filters, thermal resistant C/W, SWR, coil inductance, capacitor capacity, and more.
Emilda is an Integrated Library System that features an OPAC, circulation and administration functions, Z39.50 capabilities, and 100% MARC compatibility. MARC compatibility is achieved using the Zebra server from Indexdata in conjunction with MySQL. Emilda is mainly written in PHP, but Perl scripts exist for MARC manipulation and shell interaction.
FreeSMS (Free Student Management System) is a Web application for managing an educational facility. It manages teachers and students and provides marketing, registration, course management, attendance, and a student evaluation system, and manages courses within a class environment. Profile-based management is supported for administrators, teachers, and students. Teachers and students can be registered online. Students are allowed to manage their own class enrolment and submit course evaluations, and teachers can manage student attendance. The differential factor and elegance of this project lie in the OOP standard and a modular structure. The code is clean and very extendable.
Graidle (Graph aid) is a Web application for creating charts. It can be used to generate several types of graphical diagrams. It has classes specialized in generating histograms (also horizontal), spider graphs, pie charts, and line (also filled) charts. Several visual aspects may be customized, such as colors, font dimensions, labels, and axes. The diagrams are generated as true color images using PHP and GD library functions, and can be displayed as the current script output or saved to a file in the PNG format.
IMathAS (Internet Mathematics Assessment System) is a Web-based math testing and homework system. It is a light course/learning management system and testing system, similar to and inspired by WebWork and WIMS, and similar to textbook-bundled systems like iLrn and MathXL. It requires a browser with MathML and SVG support such as Firefox 1.5 or IE6 with plugins.
