Asymptopia Crossword Builder (Math/Text) is an application that runs in any modern Web browser, but does not require an Internet connection (if it is installed locally). The application was designed to allow teachers to quickly produce well-designed, challenging activities. The application features a configuration panel where the user can either enter their own word-hint pairs, or generate math-crossword problems via a single button. The math functionality generates word:hint pairs like: "four:7/x-3/8=11/8", where the hint corresponds to the problem, and the student would write the letters "four" in the corresponding boxes of the puzzle.

Coursor is a Web-based academic course system for assigning students to university courses. It has an evolutionary algorithm for assigning students to the courses they requested. This algorithm tries to find an optimal distribution of students to existing courses while taking their preferences into account. The system supports multiple roles for users: Admin, Student, Teacher/Prof, or Tutor. A user can also have multiple roles. It supports international localization, currently in English, German, French, Russian, and Arabic.
Daily Diabetes Diet Counter is a Web-based tracking program for people with diabetes. Just open the Counter and leave it open throughout the day, adding foods as you eat them. The Counter keeps track of calories, starches, vegetables, fruits, milks, meats, and fats. As you add foods, the Counter keeps a list that can be printed at the end of the day.
EZ Reusable Objects (EZRO) is a Web application that can be used by non-technical staff to manage content as "objects." Content objects containing text, video, and audio can be shared, modified, and re-styled to appear via a traditional Web site, an on-line course, an innovative "Coach," or as a community of interest site. It is highly scalable and can be used for public Web sites, secure environments, and private intra/extranets.
FreeSMS (Free Student Management System) is a Web application for managing an educational facility. It manages teachers and students and provides marketing, registration, course management, attendance, and a student evaluation system, and manages courses within a class environment. Profile-based management is supported for administrators, teachers, and students. Teachers and students can be registered online. Students are allowed to manage their own class enrolment and submit course evaluations, and teachers can manage student attendance. The differential factor and elegance of this project lie in the OOP standard and a modular structure. The code is clean and very extendable.
Graidle (Graph aid) is a Web application for creating charts. It can be used to generate several types of graphical diagrams. It has classes specialized in generating histograms (also horizontal), spider graphs, pie charts, and line (also filled) charts. Several visual aspects may be customized, such as colors, font dimensions, labels, and axes. The diagrams are generated as true color images using PHP and GD library functions, and can be displayed as the current script output or saved to a file in the PNG format.
