Bluefish is a programmer's Web development editor written using GTK, designed to save the experienced webmaster some keystrokes. It features a multiple file editor, multiple toolbars, custom menus, image and thumbnail dialogs, open from the Web, CSS dialogs, PHP, HTML, Java, C, and XML support, external program integration (tidy, weblint, make, javac), and lots of wizards.
Co-Ment is a Web service for annotating, discussing, and writing texts online. The editing environment is wiki-like, supporting many syntaxes (Markdown, RST, and HTML), and allows for finely controlled layouts including tables and images. Users can comment on extracts of the text, and advanced comment navigation features allow new annotations to be discovered or the history of a debate to be browsed. It is also possible to set up an email alert for text edits or new comments. Import/export is supported for many formats including TXT, DOC, ODT, and HTML.
CryptoTE is a text editor with integrated strong cryptography. It is based on the popular Scintilla widget and automatically stores text data in secure encrypted container files. Compared to other "password keeper" programs, CryptoTE does not force any structure upon your data: it works with plain ASCII text and does not require you to fill in grids, key-value attributes, or descriptions. Encryption is transparently performed using the highly-secure Serpent cipher. The editing interface is thoroughly optimized for speed and ease of use. Esperantilo ("Tool for Esperanto") is a UTF-8 editor with linguistics functions for the language Esperanto, and is also a system for computer aided translation. It contains a spell checker and grammar checker for the Esperanto language. It can translate Esperanto text in different formats to Polish, German, English, and Swedish and from Polish and English. It also supports computer aided translation by interactive machine translation. Translation memory can be used also for any language pairs. It is an XLIFF editor. It supports XLIFF and TMX (Level 1) formats. Machine translation uses direct translation at the syntax level.
EuroMath2 is a WYSIWYG XML editor platform. It is able to contain and manage editors with WYSIWYG capability. By default, it contains support for SVG, DocBook, XSL-FO, XHTML, MathML, and experimental support for CML. It includes a simple text/block editor that uses schema files to modify the document.
