The faster the answer, the more points you receive. Up to eight people can play in a turn-based mode. In the highest difficulty level, instead of having the buttons, the player must type the answer. Symbols like "!", "-", "." etc are filtered out, and it's not case sensitive, so it's a little easier to answer correctly.

The interface is simplified for quick handling, even for people with a handicap like partially sighted persons. Intuitive keyboard shortcuts provide an easy way to access the functionalities of the application and to navigate within books (by chapter and by paragraph). DaisyDuck automatically saves the position where the playback of a book was interrupted.
