Antville is high performance, feature rich weblog hosting software based on Helma Object Publisher, an Open Source Web application server entirely written in Java. Antville itself is written in JavaScript and scales very well up to tens of thousands of weblogs on an ordinary machine. It is easy to use while offering a lot of advanced features which make it capable of hosting other types of websites as well. It features per-site language and timezone definitions, import and export of layout templates, import and export of stories (.xml), tags, polls, file uploads, user rights management, Blogger, MetaWeblog, and MovableType API support, virtual site hosting, feeds (full content or just stories, comments, per tag), and disk quotas. The AntClick package contains everything you need to run Antville on your own computer (Web server, application server, embedded database). The Arx Libertatis source code is based on the publicly released Arx Fatalis sources. BAD (BAckup Daemon) "watches" a directory and copies any files or directories moved/copied into it to another "backup" directory automatically using inotify. It will automatically generates hashes for files using the md5 hashing algorithm, and stores them in a file for quick and easy integrity checking. It will log (mostly) everything it's doing, and makes it very convenient to grep for certain messages using multiple logging levels which the user can set to get the desired output. It has its own built-in uninstaller which will delete any and all files it has created (besides the user's watch and backup directories).
