The EESST package implements a common format for Email Exchange of Secondary School Transcripts. MIME and OpenPGP email standards are applied to enable secure communication of academic transcripts directly from each student to his or her chosen recipients without intervention or monitoring by any third-parties. Because transcripts are digitally signed by the originating school official, transcript recipients can independently verify that transcripts received directly from students have not been altered in transit.
libtld is a library used to extract the TLD from a URI and to check email validity. This allows you to extract the exact domain name, sub-domains, and all the TLD (top level, second level, third level, etc.). The problem with TLDs is that you cannot know where the domain starts. Some domains can use one top-level domain, others use two, etc. However, it may be useful to know where the domain is to have the exact list of sub-domains. For example, if you want to force www. at the start of the domain name if no other sub-domains are specified, then you need to know exactly how many TLD are defined in a URI. The libtld offers one main function: tld(), which gives you a way to extract the TLD from any URI. The result is the offset where the TLD starts. This gives you enough information to extract everything else you need. For emails, the library is capable of parsing a string that represents a list of email addresses to be verified. The verification includes a check of the domain name and its TLD.
email@Scanner is an application that parses email from either an email server, email files, or one of several Macintosh email clients, selecting only those email that satisfy given criteria. Data may be extracted from anywhere within the selected email and further refined via data filters and scripts and then used to update a FileMaker or ODBC database. An optional outgoing email may be sent, created with data from the email and/or the associated database record.

MailChariot's only mission is to get your incoming email (for example from /var/spool/mail), filter it through a spam filter, and put it into a spam or ham mailbox. If you don't agree with the spam filter's decision, you can move it to the notspam or notham mailbox and MailChariot will mark the message as ham or spam respectively. This design is mail client agnostic. It is ideal for use on shared hosts where the provided spam filtering is not effective enough.
EasyPhpMassEmail is a PHP class that is intended for Web sites that need a simple solution for sending many email messages and do not have access to the PEAR packages for sending mass emails. The EasyPhpMassEmail class sends the email messages in batches and relies on an email queue page that reloads after each batch. By doing so, it is possible to send a large number of emails without problems using the mail() function and have a progress indication at the same time. The example files in the package demonstrate the use of the class.
Mail2Web is a gateway between email and Web service for places where no direct Internet connection is available, but email can be used. This script can be installed in the .forward file of an email-enabled Unix account and will then translate simple email commands into Web page fetches. Authorized users are identified by their "from" address and a password in the subject line.
