JWebEngine is an embeddable component that is far more advanced than the internal Sun HTML renderer since it flawlessly passes the Mail Accid and the Accid 1 test. It can easily be used as a JavaHelp or Mail Client renderer in your own applications. Even headless rendering is possible, for thumbnail generation for example. JWebEngine is already being used in the products i-net Crystal-Clear and i-net HelpDesk.
Bviplus is a console ncurses based binary file editor (hex editor) with Vim-like keys and features. It can quickly open/edit/save very large files (> 2GiB). It can perform regexp-like pattern searches in hex or ASCII windows. It features search highlighting, multiple undo/redo, a tabbed multiple file interface, visual selection, cut and paste (which works between files as well), blob coloring, and more. It can run external programs on selected data, supporting any program that reads stdin and writes stdout. It has few dependencies for easy portability.
IPTEditor intends to ease the task of managing/editing iptables rules. It presents an intuitive graphical interface that organizes iptables tables as tabs of a notebook, each of which, in turn, organizes their chains in notebooks tabs. Each rules tab contains a list made up of rows (rules) or item columns ordered according to their occurrence. The items in the rows can be edited by appropriate forms, such as through dialogs for targets and criteria (modules), edit fields for network addresses, and selection boxes for actions and protocols, among others.
Shape Collage is an automatic photo collage maker that lets you create picture collages in less than a minute with just a few mouse clicks. You can even save the collage as an Adobe Photoshop PSD file, and edit the collage afterwards in Photoshop or GIMP.
spriteconv stitches several individual still images into a single image with all the components side by side, arranged into a specified number of rows and columns. Such output images are typically used in 2D video games to realize the various states of animation for a particular graphical element, known as a "sprite".
