STMX is a high-performance Common Lisp library for composable Transactional Memory (TM), a concurrency control mechanism aimed at making concurrent programming easier to write and understand. Instead of traditional lock-based programming, one programs with atomic memory transactions: if a memory transaction returns normally it is committed. If it signals an error, it is rolled back. Transactions can safely run in parallel in different threads, are re-executed from the beginning in case of conflicts or if consistent reads cannot be guaranteed, and effects of a transaction are not visible from other threads until committed. This gives freedom from deadlocks, automatic rollback on failure, and aims to resolve the tension between granularity and concurrency.
exceptions4c is a tiny, portable framework that brings the power of exceptions to your C applications. It provides a simple set of keywords (macros, actually) which map the semantics of exception handling you're probably already used to: try, catch, finally, throw. You can write try/catch/finally blocks just as if you were coding in Java. This way you will never have to deal again with boring error codes, or check return values every time you call a function.
Erasm++, the Embedded Runtime Assembler in C++, is an Embedded Domain Specific Language (EDSL) in C++ for runtime code generation on Intel 64/IA-32 architectures. It supports complete compile-time syntax checking, and its code generators run very quickly because necessary data are computed statically. Also included are GenericDsm, a fast and generic instruction decoder library which supports "pattern matching" against the decoded instructions, and MetaPrelude, a Haskell-like lazy metaprogramming library that helps implementing EDSLs in C++.
UverseWiki is a modular open source PHP framework designed for text processing. Unlike most existing solutions, it is not regular expression-based but instead uses a recursive descent parser to build a document object model. After the parsing stage has been finished and the DOM is produced, the original source is discarded and all operations are performed on the document tree instead: nodes can be altered, serialized, or rendered into a particular format (such as HTML or RTF). The wiki syntax is language-neutral and the processing itself is carried out in UTF-8.
Configurator is a configuration file parser. It allows you to use arbitrary nesting of sections. The user can define an option's default value, necessity, and semantic check. It supports single-line and multi-line comments (in C++ style). It provides common checks of options and sections, like duplication, incorrection, etc. It uses only Boost C++ libraries and ISO C++. It is header-only (does not require building) and very easy to use.
Components 4 Java is a development tool for Java. It provides a framework to organize and separate different parts of code, and fills the gap between the class level and the library level as provided by the Java SE architecture. Additionally, you can organize your classes in well-separated and loosely coupled components. Those can be stuck together graphically into larger compositions. Finally, components and compositions will be distributed among Java archives as specified in assemblies.
