S3QL is a file system that stores all its data online. It supports Amazon S3, Google Storage, and OpenStack and effectively provides you with a hard disk of dynamic, infinite capacity that can be accessed from any computer with Internet access. S3QL provides a standard, full featured Unix file system that is conceptually indistinguishable from any local file system. Additional features include compression, encryption, data de-duplication, immutable trees, and snapshotting, which make it especially suitable for online backup and archiving. The design favors simplicity and elegance over performance and feature-creep. Care has been taken to make the source code as readable and serviceable as possible. Solid error detection, error handling, and extensive automated test cases are provided.
TruPax is a tool for creating TrueCrypt volumes directly from files and folders. Volume sizes are precisely adjusted to the actual amount of data, so there is no slack. They mount on any modern OS and are of UDF 1.02 format. Creation happens quickly and directly, by creating the file system structures in the encrypted container on-the-fly. TruPax does not require TrueCrypt to be installed nor administrative rights. GUI and command line versions are available. The original material can be securely erased after a volume has been created. Volumes created by TruPax can also be extracted and all TrueCrypt volumes can be quickly invalidated.
crackxls2003 breaks the encryption on Microsoft Excel and Word 97/2000/XP/2002/2003 files which have been encrypted using the RC4 method. These files are encrypted using a 40-bit-long key. It will not work on files encrypted using versions later than 2007 or versions 95 or earlier, or if a non-default encryption method was used.
Lessfs is a high performance inline data deduplicating file system for Linux. Lessfs complies to the POSIX standard and is very useful for backup purposes as well as providing storage for virtual machine images. Although lessfs is a file system that is implemented in user space with FUSE, it offers decent performance. Lessfs is capable of handling data rates up to 350MB/sec. It supports filesystem encryption.
sec-wall is a feature-packed security proxy that supports SSL/TLS, WS-Security, HTTP Auth Basic/Digest, extensible authentication schemes based on custom HTTP headers and XPath expressions, powerful URL matching/rewriting, and an optional header enrichment. It's a security wall with which you can conveniently fence otherwise defenseless backend servers.
SecuXabber is a secure Jabber-client for Android that uses strong, asymmetric encryption on top of the XMPP protocol. A key pair is generated on application start-up. Users can send their public key to other SecuXabber users via Bluetooth. This face-to-face check ensures the veracity of the public key. After the keys have been imported by both users, all communication between them is encrypted using strong 4096 bit encryption. It supports all relevant XMPP features, works with multiple accounts, is highly customizable, and has many other useful features.
QPass is a password manager application. It enables you to store your confidential data encrypted. All entries are stored in a single-file database encrypted using the AES-256 algorithm. Each entry can contain a name, URL, username, password, and description. QPass can also generate random passwords based on mouse movements.
