WAV-PRG converts Commodore 64 tapes to PC emulator files (.PRG, .P00, or .T64) and back. WAV-PRG can read from/write to WAV files, or directly read from/play to the soundcard. A plug-in structure allows recognition of multiple C64 tape formats: in order to support a new format, one can write a new plug-in, without needing to change the main program.

It provides both a development toolkit for porting Windows source code to Unix as well as a program loader, allowing many unmodified Windows programs to run on x86-based Unixes.
