Hebe is a KDE 4.4 front-end GUI for the Hercules z/Arch emulator. It was designed to have a modern look, like the VirtualBox interface; there are no dials. Hebe provides two consoles, one for Hercules and one for the SCP (system control program), also known as the operating system. Input is automatically routed to the correct receiver. You can start as many instances of Hercules as your hardware can support. Hebe works best with Hercules 3.0.7.
ParaJVE is an advanced emulator for the GCE Vectrex game console (created in 1982 by General Consumer Electric). The emulation is mature enough to deliver a rendering close to the real machine, allowing you to enjoy most of the original games (as well as some extra homebrew ROMs). The emulator packaging is self-sufficient: it contains all the files needed to run the whole set of original vectrex games (including ROMs and hi-quality color overlays) and some additional homebrew games. It is perfectly legal for anybody to download, install and run this software, since the embedded ROMs are either public domain or homebrews whose authors gave written permission to include them in the ParaJVE package.
FCEUX is a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Famicom, and Famicom Disk System (FDS) emulator. It supports both PAL (European) and NTSC (USA/JPN) modes. It supports both Windows and SDL versions for cross compatibility. The FCEUX concept is that of an "all in one" emulator that offers accurate emulation and the best options for both casual play and a variety of more advanced emulator functions. For advanced users, FCEUX offers tools for debugging, ROM-hacking, map making, tool-assisted movies, and Lua scripting. FCEUX is an evolution of the FCE Ultra emulator. FCEUX merges elements from FCEU Ultra, FCEU rerecording, FCEUXD, FCEUXDSP, FCEUXDSP CE, and FCEU-mm into a single branch of FCEU.
