DeforaOS libc is an implementation of the Unix libc essential library. While originally intended to provide a POSIX compatibility layer to DeforaOS, it is also portable for Unix systems. Its small size and kernel abstraction make it suitable for embedded systems, exposing a single API regardless of the kernel used.

The yaSSL Embedded Web Server is a fast, embeddable, and easy-to-configure Web server with a strong focus on portability and security. The Web server offers SSL/TLS (HTTPS) support built-in through the CyaSSL embedded SSL Library. With a footprint size of less than 100kB with SSL enabled (or 40kB without SSL) and a simple and clean API, the yaSSL Embedded Web Server was designed to fit perfectly into resource-constrained embedded environments. While maintaining a small size and fast speeds, the yaSSL Embedded Web Server offers a full feature set to give you the maximum amount of freedom and flexibility when developing your project.

OpenEcoSys-NetworkViewer is a cross-platform Qt4 GUI used to interact with distributed embedded nodes on the network. The modular interface supports multiple transmission media and protocols. Real-time graphical visualization of remote variables hosted on embedded devices is made possible by a software stack called NETVProtocolStack and Arduino compatible boards and Microchip PIC (8,16, 32 bits) micro-controllers are supported. Logging facilities and JavaScript scripting are also available through a plug-in mechanism to interact with the remote variables. A plug-in mechanism is also available to implement new protocols and support new communication hardware.

ZixFS is a simple embedded file storage based on a Zip file structure. It has been developed as an alternative to GridFS, but is still not on par with it. The main objective is to provide a powerful filesystem under a Windows 32-bit environment, with the capability of handling terabytes of data, which is not offered by GridFS. The original ZipStorer class library was developed Jaime Olivares.

Xvisor is a type-1 hypervisor that aims to provide a monolithic, light-weight, portable, and flexible virtualization solution for ARMv5, ARMv6, ARMv7a, ARMv7a-ve, ARMv8a, x86_64, and other CPU architectures. It primarily supports full virtualization, and hence supports a wide range of unmodified guest operating systems. Paravirtualization is optional and is supported in an architecture independent manner (such as VirtIO PCI/MMIO devices) to ensure that no changes are required in the guest OS.

sVimPy is a very small Python virtual machine intended for use in microcontroller projects. At the moment, it supports about 3/4 of all opcodes used in python3k. Most data types are supported. The intended goal is to use this VM in environments like Atmel's ATmega chips (2-8kb RAM). The microcontroller bootloader is still missing (no arduinos left for experimentation). Classes are not supported. Features include: function calling, a stack based VM, garbage collection, very low memory usage, an interactive debugging console, dictionaries and tuples, iterations, VM single stepping (game loop usage is possible), C function calling, a small memory footprint, fast performance, the ability to be used as a library in other projects, a simple API + code, possible usage as a small deployment executable for Python projects.
