SRecord is a collection of powerful tools for manipulating EPROM load files. It understands a number of file formats including Motorola S-Record, Intel hex, Tektronix hex and binary, for both input and output. SRecord filters include cropping, filling, splitting, joining, and more. All filters may be applied to all file formats.
DirectFB is a thin library that provides developers with hardware graphics acceleration, input device handling and abstraction, an integrated windowing system with support for translucent windows and multiple display layers on top of the Linux framebuffer device. It is a complete hardware abstraction layer with software fallbacks for every graphics operation that is not supported by the underlying hardware.

It includes push email functionality and is a certified implementation of SyncML (OMA DS/DM standard). It includes a mobile application server with connectors to SQL relational databases, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, and SugarCRM, applications for Outlook, Windows Mobile PocketPC, BlackBerry, Palm, and iPod for synchronizing address books and calendars, and a gateway for supporting mobile email. An SDK and an OMA DM server for remotely managing mobile devices are also included.
Seminole Webserver is a portable Web server designed to be used in embedded systems, where memory space is at a premium. It is written in C++, and has a mechanism to direct requests to application-specific code, complete with the decoding of "CGI" parameters. It also includes a "filesystem" that can package up Web content (and optionally compress it) and store it in a ROM or other "flat" device. It comes with a simple example to make it a standalone Webserver under POSIX platforms for evaluation and testing.
Do178Builder is a documentation tool used throughout the software/hardware development effort, helping to produce the DO-178B/254 documentation much less painfully. A major obstacle to creating airborne products, for smaller developers, is the necessity to qualify the software per RTCA/DO-178B, or hardware per RTCA/DO-254. Without this qualification, airborne products cannot be deployed.
Player provides a language-independent networked interface to robots and their sensors. Supported devices include Pioneer 2DX robots with sonar, odometry & compass, SICK laser rangefinder, ACTS color vision system, GPS, gripper and wireless communications. Stage provides a population of simulated Player devices. Controllers designed using Stage have been shown to work unchanged on real robots and vice versa. Stage aims for low-fidelity simulation of many devices, rather than perfect models.
Hush is a full object-oriented programming language, based loosely on Smalltalk. Features include typeless data, polymorphism, dynamic method binding, static and dynamic object bases, mixin support, exception handling, closures, multiple threads, garbage collection, a fully embeddable virtual machine, separate compilation with linker, the core program (text only) runs on Unix, Cygwin, Windows, and there is a graphics bindings for X11. Hush allows rapid development of small programs and is intended as a general purpose language for quick solutions to problems. it also encourages proper object-oriented techniques. It differs significantly from Smalltalk in the construction of a class and the flow control of the methods; it is more like a traditional procedural language. It is not intended to be a full system like Smalltalk, but rather executes as a stand-alone program.
