Isoqlog is an MTA log analysis program written in C. It is designed to scan qmail, Postfix, Sendmail, and Exim logfiles and produce usage statistics in HTML for viewing through a browser. It produces a "top domains" statistic according to sender, receiver, total mails, and bytes, and keeps the main domain mail statistics with regard to day's top domain, and top users values for per day, per month, and per year.
pflogsumm.pl is designed to provide an over-view of postfix activity, with just enough detail to give the administrator a "heads up" for potential trouble spots. Reports includes: Total number of messages and bytes; Hosts/Domains; senders and Recipients; per-hour traffic reports; summaries of warnings, fatal errors, and panics; and so on ...
Lire is a pluggable log analyzer. It has analyzers for over 25 log file formats, ranging from Apache WWW log files to iptables firewall logs and CUPS printing logs. Reports are generated in 9 different output formats, ranging from Excel 95 to PDF to HTML, optionally with included graphs.
CRM114 is a Controllable Regex Mutilator and Smart Filter, designed for easy creation of filters for things like incoming email redirection, spam filtering, system logs, or monitoring processes. Filtering rules can be either hard-coded (such as regexes), soft-coded (calculated at runtime or read from an external file or process), or learned dynamically by phrase matching (as in Bayesian filtering, Markovian matching, Winnowing, or Hyperspatial classification). This makes it possible to create very accurate filters with very little actual work. Accuracies over 99.9% are achievable.
MFilter is a replacement for maildrop/procmail and fetchmail/getmail. It is an email retriever that supports Maildir or command delivery and processing. Its secondary goal is to facilitate the life of the network administrator by centralizing the downloading, filtering, and classification of mail in a simple and flexible way. Some of its features include XML file based configuration and logging of each action taken.
mysqmail-qmail-logger is a very small daemon that logs SMTP traffic such as successful delivery and relaying to an SQL database. It splits the information by domain and by users in both the to and from fields, which makes it very easy to count all the SMTP traffic for a given domain name.
mysqmail-qmail-pop3d is a replacement for the qmail standard checkpasswd that does authentication via a MySQL table. When done, it sets up two more environment variables, MYSQMAIL_USERNAME and MYSQMAIL_DOMAINNAME. The mysqmail qmail-pop3d replacement will use these variables to do the traffic accounting in the MySQL table for the account.
