Signal Generator is a laboratory noise/sound generator which can be used to generate accurate sounds in fixed frequency, 2-channels (two frequencies going at once), a sweep-pattern, or in a specified sequence. It is useful when you need to generate a fixed sound for whatever purpose (in the laboratory, for sound effects, etc)
Resistors is a program to calculate the most suitable E-series resistors for voltage dividers or for generating other values by putting two resistors in parallel. It is especially useful for selecting resistor values for the voltage dividers used in variable voltage regulators. In effect, the voltage in the middle of the divider is known, and you want to achieve a regulated voltage (the top value).
WREC controls an SCPI-programmable power supply (such as Agilent E3631A) to reform large aluminum electrolytic capacitors. It was written specifically for the Computer History Museum PDP-1 Restoration Project, but should be useful for reforming capacitors for almost any old equipment, even audio gear.
asfpga is an assembler written for use in FPGA design. It can be easily modified for a particular instruction set. The ultimate goal of this software is to allow a FPGA designer to easily write assembly code for a custom instruction set. The current version allows you to create a listing file, a memory dump file which can be used in debugging HDL code using $readmemh() or equivalent routine, and a binary file which can be used to program an EPROM.
The QConsole class is a custom widget that implements a basic console, written in C++ and relying on Qt. It implements several features and is intended to be inherited from in order to have a "real" console for a specific scripting language, shell, etc. Example implementations for TCL and Python are included.
