Livestat is a Perl-based statistics management system designed for academic competition tournaments, a.k.a "College Bowl" or "quiz bowl" events. Livestat is used to automate the processing of statistics from individual matches, and to quickly publish statistics on teams and players to the Web.
EText Reader (ETR) is a program for reading ETexts from Project Gutenberg texts. It allows selection of font, and foreground and background colors, as well as persistant reading position and bookmarking. It supports browsing, searching, and direct downloading of Project Gutenberg ETexts. It features a built-in online dictionary for instant word definitions while reading.
SOSSE (Simple Operating System for Smartcard Education) is a free smart card operating system. It is implemented in C and assembler for the Atmel AVR smart cards (Funcard, PinkCard, Jupiter). The aim of this project is to provide something like Linux for smart cards, which is a market full of NDAs. SOSSE should make it possible to learn about smart cards, and to implement and test your own ideas.
JRobot is a Java utility to manipulate the Mitsubishi RVM1 robot. Its features include the ability to connect to a RVM1 robot locally and remotely, viewing from a camera with RTP, and a virtual view which is useful when executing JRobot in test mode. It is possible to manipulate the RVM1 robot with a joystick and program and test it with a GUI.
