C-Cramp (the C-Cramp College Radio Audio Management Program) is a Web-based frontend to MySQL for managing the types of things that small radio stations might need: audio files, data, and "metadata"; DJ and staff information, schedules, live music and program logs, and all sorts of other data. Currently, a cross-platform PHP application is the focus of the project, but more features and types of programs are planned that will hopefully enable easier playback, storage, loading, and entering for all types of applicable data.
Canorus is a cross-platform music score editor. It supports an unlimited number and length of staffs, polyphony, MIDI playback of written notes, chord markings, lyrics, and a number of import and export filters to many formats like MIDI, MusicXML, ABC Music, MUP, PMX, MusiXTeX, and LilyPond. It features multiple viewports of the same score, scripting support, score source view, and a fast and intuitive UI. It is based on Qt4, uses CMake as a project management tool, swig for scripting/macros integration (primary script languages are Ruby and Python), and the cross platform rtmidi library for MIDI playback. It is the official successor to NoteEdit.
DansTuner is a program to tell you if you are playing a pitch in tune. Major features include automatic discovery of which note you are trying to play (good for trumpet, singer, etc.), the ability to play a guide tone at a configurable volume, a graphical moving "needle" with a red/green display and detail about how flat or sharp you are, and an easily configurable background noise threshold.
Dyne:bolic GNU/Linux is a live bootable operating system equipped with a wide range of multimedia applications: editors and streamers of audio and video, 3D modelers, image processors, P2P file-sharing tools, Web browsers, an office suite, and full encryption of storage and communication. Dyne:bolic is optimized to run on old computers, runs the Linux-Libre kernel, and omits all non-free software. It can be well used without a network connection, and it comes with all the tools and libraries needed to customize the OS.
EZ Reusable Objects (EZRO) is a Web application that can be used by non-technical staff to manage content as "objects." Content objects containing text, video, and audio can be shared, modified, and re-styled to appear via a traditional Web site, an on-line course, an innovative "Coach," or as a community of interest site. It is highly scalable and can be used for public Web sites, secure environments, and private intra/extranets.
FrAid (Fr[actal] Aid) is a programming language that is appropriate for mathematical computations, visualization, batch processing, and more. It features both a standalone application that provides a programming environment for the language and a system for integrating the language with Java. The Java interface allows mathematical equations and formulas to be used with Java code, making it easier to process numerical computations, symbolic computations, imaging, CAD, and more.
